Special Screening of 'Stealing a Nation' with John Pilger Introduction and Chagossian Q&

On 2 December the Barbican Cinema in London will host a very special screening of 'Stealing a Nation,' the seminal feature length film about Chagossians brutal deportation and years of poverty-stricken exile. The film-maker, eminent journalist John Pilger, will be there in person to introduce the film.

After the film we will be arraning a Question and Answer session with Chagossians and people who have been involved in the campaign. This will be a chance to hear about what is happening now and has been happening since the film was made in 2004.

At such a critical time in the Chagossian struggle for return, this will be a great chance to get an insight into one of the most unique and inspiring human rights struggles. It is also a chance to find out what needs to happen to finally secure a resolution.

More details will follow but we encourage people to get tickets as soon as possible as space is limited. We do not recieve any of the ticket price so please also consider making a donation to support our work fighting for justice-link to the side.

You can get tickets directly from the Barbican from their website.
