Stop the second exile: help Chagossian families facing deportation from the UK
Help Chagossians protest for justice this Tuesday
In the 1960s and 1970s, Chagossians were forced from their homes by their own UK government, as their Chagos Islands homeland was cleared for a military base.
Now their children & grandchildren are threatened with deportation from the UK, whilst still being barred from returning to their homeland.
Dominique Elysee, 50, is taking the Home Office to court over this outrage. We want to make sure as many Chagossians as possible can be there to support his case at the High Court on Tuesday. Please give anything you can support the travel costs from Crawley to London.
Community Group Chagos Islanders Movement have organised a protest, and need all the support we can give. But if you can't make it in person on Tuesday, please give anything you can.
Please see the CNN report above to understand just why this is so important.
